No machining or change to the OEM hydraulic lash adjusters is required with our rocker retainer clips on the 4G63 engine. They are designed to work with the existing groove in the hydraulic lash adjuster.
Note: Cast Rocker Arms must be upgraded to Pressed Metal Rocker Arms
Our rocker retainer clips are designed for the 4G63 engines in the Mitsubishi Evo 4-9 which have pressed metal rocker arms.

We've designed our clips specifically for the 4G63 from high carbon steel and they're also heat treated to withstand the temps within the valvetrain. They ain't no body clips.
