Our Rocker Retainers use the existing groove in the above-mentioned hydraulic lash adjusters and solid lifters, requiring no machining or modification.
Important notes
Cast rocker arms on the Evo 1-3 4G63 can be upgraded to pressed metal rocker arms to use this Rocker Retainer.

Part numbers
Fits the Mitsubishi OEM pressed metal rocker arm, part number MD375091 (1G/2G DSM and Evo 4-9 4G63). Evo 1-3 cast rocker arms must be upgraded to MD375091 first.

Frequently asked questions
Can you install the clips without removing the camshafts?
We recommend taking the camshafts out. It's much easier, and forcing the clips on with the cams in place risks breaking them.
Will these handle 1000+ horsepower?
Yes. They're running in a World Time Attack winning Evo and in drag cars.
Will they work with GSC cams?
Yes. They work with all aftermarket camshafts, including GSC.
Will these handle 10,000 RPM?
Yes, as long as there are no serious underlying valve float issues.
Why do these cost more than a generic clip?
They're not body clips. We designed them specifically for the 4G63, from high carbon steel heat-treated to withstand the temperatures in the valvetrain. Compared with the cost of a rocker dropping and destroying your engine, they're well worth it.
Why is this clips only when the FA/FB kit includes pivots?
The 4G63 doesn't need a new pivot. Our clips use the existing groove in the OEM and GSC Zero-Tick hydraulic lash adjusters and Tomei solid lifters, so there's nothing to replace and no machining. The factory FA and FB pivots have no groove for the clip, which is why that kit includes our own pivots.
