Push Higher RPM with confidence on your Toyota G16E-GTS Engine with the precision of Solid Lifters!
Take your GR Corolla or GR Yaris' engine’s performance to the next level with our Solid Lifters, that are specifically engineered for the Toyota G16E-GTS. If you're building a race engine (500+ hp) our Solid Lifters offer the durability and precision you need to better control the valves when pushing the RPM limit.
Why Choose Solid Lifters?
Solid Lifters are a key upgrade for anyone looking to achieve peak performance from their engine. Unlike hydraulic lifters, which can lose efficiency at high RPMs, Solid Lifters maintain constant valve lash, ensuring more consistent valve operation even under extreme conditions. This translates to better throttle response, increased rev range, and more accurate valve timing—essential for high-performance builds.
Works with Our Rocker Retainers
Our Solid Lifters are fully compatible with our Rocker Retainer clip, adding an additional layer of security to your valvetrain. When used together, you get a comprehensive solution to prevent potential valve float failures and ensure peak engine performance.
Important Installation Information
• Camshaft Compatibility: As the G16E-GTS camshafts are intended for use with hydraulic lash adjusters, you must swap to a camshaft specifically designed for Solid Lifters. We have teamed up with Kelford Cams to offer their Type B (500-700 hp) camshaft that is compatible with our Solid Lifters. You will need to contact Kelford Cams (flynn@kelfordcams.com) directly to order the camshaft separately.
• Not OEM Drop-In: These Solid Lifters are not a direct OEM drop-in replacement. They require professional installation by a machine shop, to ensure they're setup with the correct lash.
• Lash setup: If adjustment is needed, it can be done by machining the valve seat, valve stem, or, adjusting the lash cap for the correct thickness.
Our Solid Lifter Advantage
• Precision Engineering: Our Solid Lifters are manufactured from high-strength billet alloy steel and heat treated to withstand the rigors of the heat cycles in high-performance engines. Each lifter is machined to exact tolerances, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
• Improved Valve Control: By eliminating the variability of hydraulic lifters, our Solid Lifters provide more precise control over valve movement, further reducing the risk of valve float and maximizing power output.
• Designed for High RPMs: Push your G16E-GTS engine to its limits without worrying about lifter collapse or loss of valve control. Our Solid Lifters are built to handle the high RPMs that performance engines demand.
• Proven Performance: Solid lifters are a staple in race engines for a reason. By upgrading to Solid Lifters, you’re equipping your engine with a proven component that enhances reliability and performance, particularly in high-stress situations.
Why Invest in Solid Lifters?
Engine failure is costly. Whether it’s due to a dropped valve or a lifter failure, the resulting damage can set you back thousands of dollars. Our Solid Lifters, when used in conjunction with our Rocker Retainer Kit, offer a cost-effective solution to mitigate these risks, providing peace of mind and allowing you to push your engine to its full potential.

FAQS
Q: Do you ship to the Staes?
A: Yes, we ship worldwide.
Q: Why did you decide to not run a shim under the solid lifter?
A: We initially explored using shims to take up the lash. However, after working with machine shops on various prototypes and considering that engines using solid lifters would likely already be in a machine shop, we decided to simplify the product with the ethos, 'the best part is no part.' The goal is for most lifters to sit within the required lash range when the engine is set up. If adjustment is needed, it can be done by machining the valve seat, valve stem, or, as a last resort, adding a shim. This approach requires less modification overall, which we believe is the best trade-off. If a shim must be added, rather than adding an additional part under the solid lifter, the lash cap can be swapped out for the correct thickness.
